Welcome To Our Life

Hello!

Guess what.... Our family finally has a blog.
Yeah!(silent applause)

Welcome to the lives of the Arnson Circus where there is no such thing as a boring day and where some people just don't understand that it is alright to sleep in past 7:00 during the summer.

This summer "Big Top" has been filled with many fun events. This includes Ryan's endeavors  at Timberline and Mikaela's adventure at Girls state.

Both have seemed to enjoyed trying new things and makeing new friends.

Today seemed crazy.

Most of you will hopefully be able to relate.

It was a Sunday morning and we all decided to sleep in a little later then usual. All of the children of course piled on moms and dads bed.

Before my eyes new it, the clock struck nine and with 11:00 a.m. church I knew I had my work cut out for me.

The next two hours were filled with screams and hollers of children running frantically up and down the hall. Some wearing only a bath towel and left over suds still dripping down there leg.

Others were busy eating jam out of the jar in the kitchen.

Oh don't you just love those moments when your freshly bathed four year old becomes a sticky mess in .0001 seconds.

Well that is the story of pretty much anyone who has children.

Of course there is always that one family who seems to have it all figured out. With there children neatly clothed in freshly pressed linens sitting  silently with there hands folded neatly in there lap.

Little angels... or robots. Whichever appears to be more fitting.

Anyways, after getting everyone remotely descent we were able to slip into the chapel right before the opening prayer...(What a relief).

It was fast and testimony meeting and the Lord revealed some of his tender mercies as the three youngest each bared a heart felt testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Then I remembered how special each of these little noisy, messy spirits were. They are children sent from Heavenly Father to this home looking for direction, and love.

I am thankful for the example that they set for me.

Once we got home I remembered how nice it felt to take a nap.

Don't you just love Sunday Naps?

They feel so fantastic!

However nothing can stop the call of the wild munchkins that have not gotten the memo that naps are supposed to be a quiet affair.

There is still time maybe they will learn...(well a person can hope, can't they!)

Eating Dinner was fun, (it always is)

But the best part of the day is after scriptures and prayers and when everyone finally goes to sleep. Then the house is quiet and I am out like a light... saving my energy to do it all again tomorrow.
